LIVING LA VIDA LOCA!!!

I’m actually more awake than i was during the second half of the first match of the BEST SHOW ON EARTH. Germany vs Costa Rica. I already predicted Germany would win even sans Ballack. But didn’t expect it to end with 4-2.  A great opener for the greatest game.

It was a beautifully played game.. and 5 out of the six goals were amazingly executed. Cun. Beautiful.

I think I was sleepy during the second half because it was a good game without drama. Can’t blame me for feeling that way coz the last football match I saw before the opening of the World Cup 2006 was MyTeam vs Malaysia. Which was a game full of drama, injuries and red cards. Hahahah.. That kinda game keep me alert. But maybe it was also because I was watching the match alone. None of my sisters are really into football.

Miroslav KLOSE who did a hat-trick during 2002 Korea/Japan when defeating Saudi Arabia 8-0 again proved that he’s a man to watch out for the adidas Golden Shoe. He scored twice just now, the 2nd and 3rd goal. One during first-half, another one during the second-half. And FRINGS scored on the 87th minute (when Ron already left to brush his teeth thinking Germany will surely win 3-2) to finish the spectacular opening match at 4-2. A good start for the host country. and a good sign that Germany can hold up on their own even without BALLACK (who was smiling handsomely when the 4th goal was scored.. aahh.. aku jatuh chenta skali lagi…).

Astounding Opening Match. Can’t wait to watch my teams, Portugal and Argentina play.
